From Don Johnston to Everway

Everway is the new name for Texthelp – a trusted leader in assistive and educational technology. Our mission remains the same: To unlock potential so everyone can achieve more at school, at work and in life. With a refreshed brand and an expanded suite of solutions, Everway continues to support schools, districts and organizations around the world.

What’s happening to the Don Johnston Inc. tools?

A few years ago, Texthelp acquired the Don Johnston Inc. brand. Since then, we've been refining our combined product portfolio to give educators and students a simpler, stronger experience.

We’re working on combining the experience and functionality of Snap&Read and Co:Writer into Read&Write to deliver one unified literacy tool. This transition means users can access the same trusted functionality, and more, within a streamlined set of products. Alongside this integration, Snap&Read and Co:Writer will be retired on 31 December 2025.

The outcome? Faster product development, improved performance, streamlined support, and more value delivered to customers, all in one place.

Quizbot and Word Bank will be retired on 31 December 2025 as part of our plan to focus on the most impactful solutions.
