Frequently asked questions

General FAQs

What is Everway’s professional learning?

Everway’s professional learning is a suite of training and development opportunities designed specifically for educators. Our goal is to help teachers feel more confident, effective, and supported in using Everway tools and strategies that drive student success.

Who are the courses for?

Our courses are designed for educators at all levels, from classroom teachers and teaching assistants to district leaders and special education professionals.

Do I need to be an existing Everway customer?

Yes. Our professional learning is for license holders, and is designed to help you get the best use out of your Everway software.

What products does it cover?

Courses cover all of Everway’s education solutions, including Unique Learning System, Polaris, News2you Read&Write, OrbitNote, Equatio, Positivity, Symbolstix, uPar, Classics, Equals Math, L3 Skills and Inspire. Many of the courses focus on one single product, but we also offer multi-solutions courses that cover multiple tools or combine tools often used together.

Training formats and delivery

What types of training do you offer?

We offer three formats:

  • Self-paced online courses: learn anytime, anywhere.
  • Live remote workshops: interactive sessions for groups up to 40.
  • On-site, in-person training: customised workshops at your school or district.

How do I find the training that’s right for me?

Get in touch with our team. They will be able to  suggest self-paced courses, live remote workshops or in-person training events that are appropriate for you, based on the products available in your school or district.

I’m a special education teacher, is there training to suit me?

Yes! Special education teachers often don’t receive job-specific training and sit in on general education professional development instead. But Everway’s courses are delivered by educators with experience in neurodiverse instruction, and designed to meet the needs of your classroom and your goals. Training for our special education curriculum, Unique Learning System, and our IEP tool Polaris have a particular focus on special education.

What will I get out of professional learning?

At the end of your training you’ll receive a certificate of completion. You’ll also be equipped with the knowledge and skills to drive student success using your Everway tools.

How long do the courses take?

Our self-paced online courses range from 30 minutes to two hours, while live remote workshops and on-site training can range from one to six hours. Unique Learning Systems PRO training includes four hours of instructional coaching sessions after the six-hour live training. You can view the duration on each course listing.

Can training be personalized for our district?

Absolutely. Our facilitators can tailor live and on-site sessions to your district goals, classroom context, and the specific Everway tools you use.

How many participants can join the sessions?

Live webinars and in-person sessions are designed for up to 40 participants to ensure quality interaction and support.
