Achieving your state’s education strategy

We know that you’re currently in year three of the state's four-year digital strategy. It’s evident the work you’re doing to embrace the potential of technology in shaping education. It’s very clear from your plans that you’ve listened to education leaders, educators, parents and students and that you’re shaping an education system that works for everyone in South Australia.

We’d love to work with you towards an education system where:

1.

All students have engaging and empowering digital learning experiences which support achievement and better prepare them to live, learn and work.

2.

All educators are equipped to deliver effective, digitally-enabled teaching to the benefit of all children and students.

3.

All schools have the expertise, systems and support to continually improve their digital approach, including providing students and educators with access to devices and technologies.

4.

All central staff have the technology and digital capability to work effectively and productively, delivering the services, programmes and policy required for a world-leading education system.

We can help bring these goals to life

How does the strategy line up with literacy levels in South Australia?

NAPLAN 2025 results show that one in three students are still falling behind benchmarks in reading, spelling, writing and numeracy, meaning they are either “developing” or need “additional support”. This trend highlights the need for enhanced literacy resources to support student learning.

Your Department for Education’s 5-point Digital Strategy is driving greater adoption of digital tools to enhance learning statewide.

One of the areas of focus in the strategy is to increase the average level of digital literacy of your students, and reduce the proportion of students below a benchmark expectation.
