Everway named one of Forbes' top 100 companies in accessibility
Everway has been included in Forbes’ inaugural Accessibility 100 list, which celebrates the world’s leading innovators and impact-makers in the accessibility space.
The list highlights companies driving change across key sectors including communication, mobility, education, software, consumer products, robotics, sports and recreation, travel, workplace, the arts, and more.
For nearly three decades, Everway has championed the needs of individuals who think, work and learn differently. Our technology is designed to adapt to diverse needs, break down barriers, and ensure access to information anytime, anywhere. Being recognised by Forbes is a significant honor and a reflection of our long-standing commitment to neuroinclusion.
This achievement reflects our collaborative approach, working alongside educators, employers, and communities to create solutions that are not only innovative but also practical and impactful in real-world settings. Our vision is to help build a more neuroinclusive world, and accessibility is central to that, helping people to learn and work with the right support.
In an interview with Heather Newman for Forbes, Everway CEO, Craig Powell emphasised the company’s role in leading a shift away from traditional “assistive” technologies and toward solutions that truly empower individuals. "We’re expanding beyond education into the workplace, creating tools that support inclusion across the lifespan,” Powell said. “The need for accessible solutions doesn’t end in the classroom.”
“This recognition is a testament to the passion and purpose that drives our team every day. Accessibility isn't a feature, it's a foundation. We're building technology that puts neuroinclusion first, because everyone deserves to thrive.”
“Accessibility is a fascinating space that has never been captured like this before,” says Alan Schwarz, Forbes Assistant Managing Editor who spearheaded the project. “There are lone innovators, juggernaut tech companies, startups. They are revolutionising how people get around, learn, communicate, work, play sports, travel, and so much more. Their impact on people’s lives is monumental – and will only be getting more so soon.”
