Get Read&Write Free for Families

Read&Write is a digital tool that helps young people and adults with reading and writing. Pupils in Midlothian schools use Read&Write to have text read out loud, figure out tricky words and to help with their writing.

Fill out the form to get free access to Read&Write for a whole year. You can use it on any device at home. 

Before you start, make sure you know your child's school postcode and have a valid Google or Microsoft email address handy. 

Terms and conditions 

  1. By signing up you are agreeing to use Read&Write for home use only, workplace not permitted
  2. Available to parents, guardians and household members of any pupil from any validated school in the Midlothian Council area
  3. The Read&Write license will be allocated to the email address used during sign up
  4. The Read&Write license may be used on up to 5 devices within your household
