Unique Learning System (ULS) has been named a winner in the 2025 CODiE Awards for best learning solution for students with special needs

The CODiE Awards are the only peer-recognized program celebrating excellence and innovation across the technology landscape. Each product is evaluated by expert judges and industry peers based on its innovation, impact, and overall value.

Judges praised Unique Learning System for its evidence-based design and comprehensive approach. They highlighted its strong foundation in the Science of Reading, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and the Scaffolded Learning Model. The judges also noted how ULS delivers differentiated, standards-aligned lessons that meet diverse student needs. They commended ULS for its extensive assessments, flexible lesson structures, and supportive teacher resources that make a sophisticated system simple to use in classrooms.

“We are honored to be recognized among such groundbreaking technologies and organizations,” said Jason Carroll, EVP Product, Everway. “This CODiE Award underscores our team’s commitment to unlocking potential so that everyone can achieve more.”

Designed to help educators deliver personalized learning with ease, Unique Learning System combines built-in assessments, flexible lesson planning, and ready-made resources to transform outcomes for students with disabilities from preschool through transition.

“The CODiE Awards celebrate the visionaries shaping the future of technology,” said Jennifer Baranowski, President of the CODiE Awards. “This year’s winners exemplify how innovation, leadership, and purpose can come together to create solutions that move industries forward and make a lasting impact.”
