We've added Voice Selection in StartPar with two new expressive AI voices. Learners can now choose a voice that works best for them.
Voice choice matters. When students can select a voice that feels comfortable and easy to understand, they can focus more on the task itself, reducing confusion and frustration.
For educators, this flexibility supports diverse learner needs while maintaining a structured assessment environment.

Designed to support fair and confident assessment
We know that accessibility during assessment must be both consistent and reliable.
By making all text fully text-to-speech accessible, including directions and dialog boxes, this update removes gaps in support. Students no longer need to navigate parts of the platform without audio access.
The new AI voice options add further flexibility for learners with the ease and more control.
Supporting independent learners
StartPar is designed to help educators understand student progress so they can showing what they know.
With full text-to-speech accessibility and expanded voice options, this update strengthens that commitment, helping create assessment environments where more students can work independently and confidently.
It’s a practical step forward in building accessible, reliable tools that support every learner.
