This accessibility statement applies to https://www.everway.com/

This website is run by Everway. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

AbilityNet has advice on making your device easier to use if you have a disability.

How accessible this website is

We know some parts of this website are not fully accessible:

  • some decorative images have inappropriate alternative text attributes
  • complex images (such as charts) do not have equivalent alternative text
  • there are instances of identical links that have indistinguishable accessible names
  • there is not sufficient contrast between the foreground and background of some graphical objects
  • heading structures are incorrect or skip levels in certain areas
  • the ReachDeck toolbar causes overlapping issues when the page is reflowed (zoomed in heavily)
  • pre-recorded videos do not currently feature a secondary audio description track

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

  • Decorative imagery contains inappropriate alternative attributes, and complex images lack an equivalent alternative text. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.1.1 (Non-Text Content).

We plan to resolve this by: 30th June 2026

  • Pre-recorded video content does not have a secondary audio description track. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.2.5 (Audio Description (Pre-Recorded)).

We plan to resolve this by: 30th June 2026

  • When the page is zoomed and content is reflowed, the ReachDeck toolbar can obscure content. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.10 (Reflow).

Why we are not fixing this: The ReachDeck toolbar is a legacy, third-party application that is no longer actively updated by its provider. Because we cannot alter the third-party code, we are unable to resolve this reflow issue. Users who rely on high zoom levels may prefer to close the ReachDeck toolbar and utilise native browser reading tools or their own assistive technologies.

  • There is not enough contrast between the foreground and background within certain graphical objects (e.g., charts). This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 1.4.11 (Non-Text Contrast).

We plan to resolve this by: 30th June 2026

  • The heading structure on some pages is incorrect, making it harder for screen reader users to bypass blocks of content. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.4.1 (Bypass Blocks).

We plan to resolve this by: 30th June 2026

  • Multiple instances of identical link text are present which do not clearly describe their differing purposes. This fails WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.4.4 (Link Purpose (In Context)).

We plan to resolve this by: 30th June 2026
