About Gus Schmedlen

Gus Schmedlen, EdD is Chief Revenue Officer at Everway. He leads our global sales and go-to-market teams across International Education, North America Education, Workplace, and our embedded publisher and assessment partnerships.

His team drives new customer acquisition, upsell, cross-sell, government relations, and global partnerships. Together, they focus on one goal: Expanding access to technology that removes barriers to understanding, delivering measurable outcomes for students, employers, and communities.

Beyond his operating role, Gus serves on the Board of Governors of JA Worldwide, the Board of Directors or Digital Promise, and chairs the Leadership Council of the Brookings Institution Center for Universal Education. Gus earned and EdD from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, and a BA in Classics from Colgate University.

Gus joined Everway in 2022, bringing decades of global leadership experience across education and technology.
