Bulk upload IEPs to get started faster in Polaris

Polaris interface

We’ve introduced a new way to bring IEPs into Polaris, helping your team get set up faster and with less manual work.

You can now upload IEP PDFs in bulk. Polaris uses GenAI to extract key information and create draft IEPs, ready for review and finalisation. This helps new districts move quickly from setup to active progress monitoring, without starting from scratch.

What’s changed

Previously, teams relied on manual entry to bring IEP data into the system. This could take time, especially during onboarding or district-wide rollouts.

With bulk upload, you can add multiple IEPs at once. The system reads each document and builds a draft IEP using the information provided. Your team can then review, make any edits, and finalise with confidence.

Designed to reduce setup time

Starting with a new system often means balancing speed with accuracy. This update helps you do both.

By reducing the need for manual data entry, your team can focus on checking and completing IEPs rather than recreating them. This supports a smoother onboarding process and helps you begin tracking student progress sooner.

A shared service across Everway products

This capability is built as a shared IEP service. It will support Polaris, Embrace, and Spedtrack, creating a consistent experience across Everway platforms.

For districts using multiple products, this means a more connected workflow and fewer barriers when managing IEPs at scale.

Supporting better outcomes for teams and students

When setup is faster, support can start sooner. Bulk upload helps reduce delays between system rollout and real classroom impact.

We expect most draft IEPs created through bulk upload to be reviewed and finalised within two months. Alongside this, we’re focused on delivering a high-quality experience, with a target customer rating of four out of five.

This update is part of our ongoing work to remove barriers in IEP and 504 management. By making it easier to get started, we help teams spend more time supporting students and less time on admin.
