Everway has appointed Nicole Wu as Chief Financial Officer, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to grow its business and expand its impact.
Nicole will lead Everway’s finance organisation, helping the company build for sustainable growth and reach more people with technology designed to remove barriers to understanding. She brings extensive experience in growth, transformation, M&A, capital markets and strategic transactions across global technology businesses.
Most recently, Nicole served as Chief Financial Officer of PDI Technologies. During her tenure, the company grew from approximately $300 million to more than $600 million in revenue, with Nicole playing a key role across M&A integration, organic growth, profitability and strategic transformation. She was also involved in significant acquisitions and divestitures and helped lead more than $1 billion in refinancing activities. In 2024, she was recognised as CFO of the Year – Large Private Company by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.
Previously, Nicole was CFO of eVestment, where she built the finance infrastructure to support 70% growth and helped lead the company through its successful combination with Nasdaq. Earlier in her career, she spent more than 15 years at GE, holding CFO and senior finance roles across global technology and software businesses, including GE Transportation and GE Healthcare.
“Nicole combines deep financial expertise with a clear understanding of what it takes to scale a global technology business,” said Jill Popelka, Chief Executive Officer of Everway. “She has helped organisations navigate significant periods of growth and transformation while building the foundations for long-term performance. That experience will be hugely valuable as we grow Everway and extend the impact we can make for different thinkers around the world.”
“Everway has an ambitious mission and a real opportunity to create lasting impact,” said Nicole Wu. “I’ve spent much of my career helping technology businesses grow and transform, and I’m excited to bring that experience to a company focused on helping every kind of mind thrive.
“For me, sustainable growth is about creating the foundations that allow a business to reach more people and make a greater difference. I’m looking forward to working with the team as Everway enters its next stage of growth.”
Nicole has also served on corporate and nonprofit boards. She was a member of the Board of Directors of American Software, Inc., contributing financial and strategic expertise through a period that culminated in the company’s acquisition.
