About Glenna Wright-Gallo
Glenna brings more than 25 years of leadership in disability policy and special education across federal and state systems. She most recently served as U.S. Assistant Secretary for Special Education and Rehabilitative Services (OSERS), advancing policies impacting more than 7 million individuals with disabilities.
She has also served as Utah’s State Director of Special Education and as Assistant Superintendent of Special Education in Washington State, leading statewide efforts to raise expectations and expand opportunity.
Glenna serves as Vice President of Policy at Everway, where she leads data-driven policy and systems strategy to support inclusive, accessible learning and employment across education and workforce sectors.
As an individual with a disability, Glenna is committed to removing barriers and making sure everyone has access to opportunity. Her work focuses on inclusive policy, accessibility systems, and aligning research, regulation, and technology to improve outcomes for learners and workers worldwide.
Having lived experience with a disability, I focus on advancing policy and systems that improve access and outcomes.
That includes ensuring education and workforce systems are accessible, neuroinclusive, and designed to support individuals in reaching their goals."
